Abstract
This research aims to propose a visitor management system that improves the registration, check, and control of citizens who access the Regional Government of Lima offices for administrative tasks. In addition, the study group included 14 members from the security management team of the Regional Government of Lima who were interviewed. Likewise, the data was gathered through a census that included surveys, interviews, and observations. Furthermore, statistical techniques and the IBM SPSS Statistics 24.0 software were also used for data processing. As a result, 100% of the members interviewed, expressed their agreement with the improvements made in the registration, check, and access control of individuals entering to carry out administrative procedures at the offices of the Regional Government of Lima through the newly implemented system. Finally, it should be noted that the governmental entity must have qualified staff to perform preventive and repair maintenance, as well as to implement new demands that may be requested following the implementation of the visitor management system.
