Instructions for authors

The editorial team of the Scientific Journal SCIENCEVOLUTION presents these instructions to all those interested in publishing their research product, subject to refereeing:

Basic information

1.1 The SCIENCEVOLUTION electronic journal of the Academic Department of General Studies is attached to the SCIENCEVOLUTION Research Center of the private entity SCIENCEVOLUTION S.R.L.

1.2 It has ISSN (International Standard Serial Number). Its electronic version has ISSN 2810-8728.

1.3 Editorial Officers. The journal has an Editorial Board made up of academics from Peruvian universities.

1.4 Refereeing. Refereeing is carried out by peer reviewers external to the journal. The type of review is double blind.

1.5 The periodicity of the publication is quarterly. The first issue runs from January to March, the second from April to June, the third from July to September and the fourth from October to December.

1.6 Its objective is to disseminate the results of original research and innovations and reviews, which will benefit the national and international academic community, generating new knowledge that will contribute to social, economic and political development in society.

1.7 The thematic coverage is multidisciplinary.

1.8 Target audience: National and international scientific community of researchers, from undergraduate and graduate students, university professors and the general public.

1.9 Information Services: It is included in the following:

1.10 Language. For editing and publication, the journal receives research products written in English, abstracts and keywords.

1.11 Open Access. All the content of the journal has free and open access. free of charge.

1.12 Intellectual Protection. All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License, which allows readers: - Share copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format.

Attribution : you must give proper credit , provide a link to the license and indicate if changes were made . You may do so in any reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests that the licensor endorses you or your use.
Non-Commercial: You may not use the material for commercial purposes.
Non-Derivative: If you remix, transform or build upon the material, you may not distribute the modified material.

1.13 Free of charge. Readers may, free of charge, download, store, print and distribute the final published version of the article without profit, mentioning the respective source and authorship.

1.14 APC - Article Processing Charge. There is no cost for publication of articles. However, for the processing, review and editorial process of the article, the author must pay the cost of S/500 soles if he/she is a Peruvian researcher or $135 US dollars if he/she is a foreign researcher.

The purpose of the APC is to guarantee the improvement, development and maintenance of the journal. The APC will correspond to each published work, regardless of the number of authors participating in each article. Likewise, the APC per publication may be paid by the authors themselves or by their institutions of affiliation or sponsors. For this purpose, the corresponding means of payment will be provided.

The Journal reserves the right to change the APC at any time in order to improve the quality of the editorial service.

1.14 Publication formats. Articles are published in PDF, HTML and XML format.

1.15 Citations and references indicated in scientific articles are made in the style that corresponds to the author's specialty. For Social Sciences, Psychology, Humanities and Engineering use APA as described in the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA) and for Medical Sciences apply the VANCOUVER style.

Assessment guidelines

2.1 Refereeing system for article approval. SCIENCEVOLUTION - Revista de Investigación Científica e Interdisciplinaria preferentially adopts the double-blind peer review evaluation methodology; also called double-blind external arbitration system. Exceptionally, it will apply other forms of evaluation such as single expert review.

Taking into account the recommendations of the reviewers, the Editorial Team of the journal will be responsible for the final decision for publication. The estimated time from the acceptance of the work by the reviewers until publication is three (03) months.

2.2 Code of Ethics. SCIENCEVOLUTION | Revista de Investigación Científica e Interdisciplinaria is a publication committed to guarantee the quality of its contents and the good exercise of ethical practices by each of its actors. This statement is based on the Guidelines on Good Publication Practices developed by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), which raises a set of ethical issues focused on each of the elements and roles involved in the editorial process.

2.4 In the review process, the following is carried out:

2.4.1 Verification of compliance with the requirements, in accordance with instructions to authors.

2.4.2 Verification of the level of coincidences with the Turnitin report, maximum 20%.

2.4.3 The Editor informs the Editorial Committee for the pre-selection of articles and refers them to the peers for the corresponding review and their opinion of publication, assuming the respective format.

2.4.4 The peer reviewers issue the opinion, considering any of the following decisions: a) To publish, b) Not to publish, c) To publish with modifications, suggesting in the latter case the required corrections.

2.4.5 Once the above process has been completed, the Editorial Board declares acceptance of the article.

Guidelines for submission of research products

3.1 Receipt of articles. The reception of articles for evaluation is permanently open.

3.2 Types of research products. Original articles derived from scientific research are published.

3.3 Responsibility for contents. The contents of the research products to be published are the sole responsibility of their authors. The Journal neither assumes nor shares the ideas, opinions and statements mentioned.

3.4 Privacy statement. Personal information and e-mail and other addresses included in the journal will be used exclusively for the purposes stated in the journal.

3.5 Average time from receipt of the article to its publication not to exceed 03 months.

3.6 The wording is impersonal "se", using non-discriminatory language, neither verbal nor graphic (sex, gender, age, race, ethnicity, nationality, political or religious creed, disabilities, etc.).

About scientific and review articles

4.1 Scientific Articles

It is a written report, with scientific and conceptual rigor, that communicates for the first time the results of a research. It describes in a complete and concise manner the results of original research, including relevant information for those who wish to reproduce the study or evaluate its results and conclusions.

4.2 Review Articles

These are analyses preferably written by experts in the topic addressed. They consist of systematic and critical evaluations of the literature and data sources, with the objective of reviewing and critically evaluating the current state of knowledge on a given topic, in addition to commenting on studies conducted by other authors.

- Maximum size of the review article: 6,000 words.

4.3 Case Studies

It is the presentation of a professional experience, based on the study of specific cases and with succinct comments of interest for the practice of other professionals in the area.

- Maximum size of the case study: 3,000 words.

4.4 Book Reviews

Book reviews: They should critically approach the ideas, arguments and topics of specialized books.

Reviews of journals: They should refer to national or international journals whose subject matter is of interest to the scientific community.

Reviews of thesis and degree works: They should refer to works of university researchers. They should be structured with: Title, author(s), summary of the research work in English Spanish (abstract) with key words, type of thesis (Doctoral, Master's), tutor, department, university, date of approval.

Review of web pages, blogs and other electronic documents: They should refer to works or references of works published on the Internet that are of interest to the academic and research field. They should be structured in: title, author(s) of the review, brief information about the content, specification of electronic address and the contributions that justify such reference.

- Maximum size of reviews: 3,000 words.

4.5 Events

Teachers and researchers attending national or international academic events will disclose papers, conferences, forums, symposia, among other activities that have been presented or to be presented at an event. The file should be structured as follows: objectives, results, conclusions and proposals generated in the same. They should include identification data: name of the event, place, date and objectives. This section also includes the promotion and dissemination of national and international conferences, congresses, meetings and conferences of interest to readers. Maximum three pages.

- Maximum size of events: 3,000 words.

4.6 Specials

The publication of essays, chronicles, commentaries or other highly relevant content for the scientific community.
