Abstract
The study starts from a problematic reality, the writing in the students of the III cycle of regular basic education, for this the state of the art is taken into account, which allows to strengthen the research problem, also share information, generate a demand for knowledge, offering different possibilities of understanding the problem. In this sense, writing discovers the deep meaning of our actions, our attitudes and our feelings, based on the language that externalizes our feelings, emotions, criticism, through writing. The objective of the research was to determine the characteristics of language difficulties to appropriate the writing system in students in the III cycle of Regular Basic Education. In the methodology, the qualitative approach was taken into account, as well as the descriptive method, accompanied by the bibliographic and hermeneutic method to analyze the secondary sources as arguments of the study variables, reaching the conclusion that language as a communication tool that consists of use formal conventions of language, such as grammatical and linguistic skills.
