Resumen
El estudio buscó adaptar y validar las propiedades psicométricas de la Escala de Actitudes hacia la Búsqueda de Ayuda Psicológica Profesional – Versión Abreviada (ATSPPH-SF) en residentes peruanos de Lima Este, Perú. Asimismo, examinar la estructura interna mediante un análisis factorial exploratorio (AFE), evaluar la validez del constructo a través de un análisis factorial confirmatorio (AFC) y estimar su consistencia interna mediante el coeficiente Omega. Se utilizó una muestra de residentes peruanos mayores de 18 años. Se empleó un diseño instrumental, no experimental y de corte transversal, con 403 participantes seleccionados por conveniencia. Tras un análisis factorial exploratorio, se eliminaron dos ítems con cargas bajas, obteniéndose una versión final de 8 ítems distribuidos en dos factores. El modelo bidimensional mostró una Raíz del Error Cuadrático Medio de Aproximación - RMSEA elevado (0.122), posiblemente influido por los pocos grados de libertad. Sin embargo, los demás indicadores respaldaron un ajuste aceptable del modelo (CFI=0.934; TLI=0.891; SRMR=0.070). Además, el Coeficiente Omega evidenció una consistencia interna satisfactoria en ambos factores. En conjunto, los resultados respaldan la validez y confiabilidad de la ATSPPH-SF para medir actitudes hacia la búsqueda de ayuda psicológica en población peruana.
